So, is this film complex or simple? Hard to tell when a presumably outrageous love story is paired with a folk tale, which suggests the two men have a pre-existing attraction which is part of nature and could not be stopped.

Quite frankly, I thought the love story was a bit tried, but I enjoyed the folk tale.. better film-making, more mystery, more willingness to promote the gray as opposed to the black and white. Star number 4 goes to you, baby.
