Review of Tron (1982) by Kyle G — 20 May 2012
If you like vintage video games from the 80s this movie will be a laugh riot action adventure through a unique old school video arcade game inspired world. Made in 1982 the effects still maintain their unique charm to this day, I enjoyed the Jeff Bridges character of 'Kevin Flynn' a maverick computer hacker out to prove his games were ripped off by a corporate backstabber, but is sucked into a digital world by the CEO's, evil AI CPU, known as the 'Master Control Program', suffice to say with the help of various friendly programs of the digital world he fights to free himself and the inhabitants of the 'GRID' from the control of the MCU in an exciting video game inspired landscape, and well worth a watch to and sci-fi fan!
