I liked this movie too. These early movies reminded me of films by Frank Capra and other directors like him. I don't actually see where in movie like this one could Amitabh Bachchan be labelled "Angry Young Man".
In this movie he is personifying the character who is in pain over the suffering caused to his mother. liked this movie of Shashi Kapoor and Amitah Bachchan as brothers.
