Review of Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia (2018) by Rini H — 20 Dec 2018
The first thing I noticed about Trevor Noah, other than his good looks, is his incredible facility with language and imitation. His Barack Obama is downright creepy in its accuracy. He speaks multiple languages and his pretend French probably sounds like French to anyone who doesn't speak it.
The second thing is the warmth and humility in which he uses to describe his international experiences. Above all, is his deep love and incredible respect for his mother whom the special is named after.
They all add up to entertainment when you add his sharp wit to his perspective. His jokes are not as cutting as Jon Stewart's. That's not his thing. He mentions the orange one only once. But you'll finding yourself cracking up nonetheless.
And you'll find yourself truly liking this guy as well. Now, if I could just figure out how to get him to. marry me.
