Review of Trash Humpers (2010) by Aaron B — 05 Jul 2013
The home movie feel to Trash Humpers is what makes it one of the most disturbing films I have ever seen in my entire life, even with the unforgivable lack of plot. The footage feels real... it feels as if I, the viewer, am invading the privacy of the main characters.
It is grimy art that for some reason I appreciate greatly. If you cannot appreciate the art of this film, then it plays out as a damn good comedy. Either way, throughout l felt angry, scared, depressed, nauseous, uncomfortable, and sympathetic.
Harmony, you've done it again.
