Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Corneliu R — 02 Feb 2010
I had never heard of this film before, and then I saw it playing on Showtime. Much to my suprise, this was great suspense movie, and I wondered how it never received any buzz. The plot begins with the innocent Americans, being befriended by the drug carrying Europeans, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see where the movie is headed.
But just when you think you have the plot all figured out, the movie throws a huge curve ball, and took me into a direction that I never expected. Far too many of these suspense movies have predictable plots, and their twists are about a twisted as a piece of plywood.
But this movie will keep you guessing all the way. Give this movie a look.
