Review of Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970) by Scott E — 08 Oct 2018

I find this a fascinating film, showing both the Japanese and American perspectives fairly. The effort to all possible for historical accuracy is for me a much better choice than creating compelling characters, extra drama or story lines.

The "dullness" some critics complain about may be valid if someone watches it only "to be entertained." I wanted to learn about what that day was really like, and did not find it dull at all.

I also found it visually compelling, with solid action scenes.
