Review of Top Dog (2014) by Connor C — 04 Jun 2014
Superb British gangster film, filled with drama, action, violence, language, death, birth and more. Leo Gregory puts in a superb performance as Billy, the street-wise leader of the AC, with a vulnerable, loving side. One of Britain's top actors. Ricci Harnett also excels in his role as the antagonist Mickey, his.
Delivery is superb. Filled with fight scenes, violence and chock full of swearing. It's not without it's dramatic moments though, which makes it different to other gangster films based just on violence. One of the best films I've seen in a long time.
