Another weird Japanese horror movie and I'm starting to see a trend.
They like to make their movie villians women.
Ringu, The Audition, Tomie... girl, girl, girl.
These are women with some sadistic streaks to them too. Tomie is a girl who won't die, as long as a body part of hers is around to regenerate. A pretty freaky scene as a decapitation results in the body twitching and then lifting it's arm and pointing off screen. For some reason, the movies are pretty freaky. The Tomie movie spawned four sequels, I rented the first three and will watch the second one tonight.
