Steve McQueen died of lung cancer in Juarez, Mexico in 1980. Earlier that year he starred in two movies: "The Hunter" and the far superior "Tom Horn". A western directed by T.V director William Wiard and written by screenwriter/novelist/director Thomas McGuane.
"Tom Horn" is a bleak, tragic and violent tale of the passing of the Old West, and a worthy farwell to one of Americas most beloved movie personalities.
