Review of Tiptoes (2002) by Annalise F — 16 Dec 2007
Very strange. I just didn't trust the filmmakers. I didn't feel like they had control of the film, of the way they were handling the 'issue'. The plot was all over the shop - the subplots of other couples wasn't followed through.
Very hasty, squirmish end - the way it left the major relationship was a bad directing call. And what was the point of Patricia Arquette's character if she wasn't developed? Felt like some sexist 80s movie - the way it dealt with her.
Disappointing. Actors did well despite this though.
