Review of Thunderbird 6 (1968) by Daniel C — 21 Jan 2012
The final Thunderbirds outing sees Jeff Tracy ask Brains to create a sixth Thunderbird for their rescue operations. With no specification to work from, Brains is faced with a frustrating challenge to meet Jeff's requirements. Meanwhile, Lady Penelope, Alan, Tintin and Parker are travelling on Brains' new airship, Skyship One around the world, where they come across a plot to capture the secrets of International Rescue.
A decent enough film for its time with fun for everyone and a dramatic rescue at the end. Thunderbird 6 doesn't quite hold up to the previous movie but still delivers more about what Thunderbirds is than the dismal 2004 live action film.
