Review of Threads (1985) by Johannes G — 20 Sep 2007
Sheffield, England. Sometime in the 80's. Soviet union and USA is on a head collision and England is doing what it can to prepare for the unthinkable; a nuclear war. One day, the three minute warning breaks the silence ...
Thanks to well made special effects it's realism becomes skincrawlingly disturbing. And with an acting that delivers from the beginning to the end, this movie is truly one of the masterpieces of an now forgotten era.
