Review of There's Nothing Out There (1991) by Bloodmarsh K — 25 Nov 2008
Deliciously postmodern horror film, paving the way for pictures like Scream and Grindhouse. Low production values and amateurish acting betray it for the student film that it is, and I think Mike would be more likeable if he had a bit more evidence to his paranoia around the beginning, but the spot-on parody and the incorporation of a highly visible boom mic into the plot more than make up for any flaws.
