Review of The Year My Voice Broke (1987) by Anthony C — 30 Nov 2007
Part of why this resonates with me is the portrayal of the loneliness of parts of Australia, the coming-of-age story, difficult love/attraction, and the small adventures that seem so big to those involved.
Flirting was almost as good. I do wish Duigan would complete the trilogy, though sadly, this doesn't seem to be happening. That being the case, I wish they were novels so I could read (and re-read) all three in full.
