Review of The Wolfpack (2015) by Matt G — 12 Jan 2016
First off: The reenactments the Angulo brothers made of their favorite films are hilarious and sweet. These kids' life of watching tons of movies and otherwise being completely sheltered has made them super dramatic and oddly affected, in the most compelling of ways.
Despite the disturbing father and the heartbreaking mother, it's a strangely endearing and optimistic look at how people cope with unique trauma in funny and even invigorating ways.
