A beautifully shot film set in Provence, France, at the beginning of WWI. I was charmed by it and reminded of why I am almost always gripped by French filmmaking and the arc of old-fashioned love stories.
Daniel Auteuil is responsible, wholly, for our chance to live in this wonderful film world again.
