Review of The War Within (2005) by Luke W — 12 May 2008
I was pleasantly surprised with the film as I didn't really know anything about it prior to seeing it. It was a leisurely paced, contemplative, and quiet work that left ample time for reflection. It didn't hit one over the head with its messages and themes, but rather simply told a story and mostly left it up to the viewer.
Good performances, script, and locations. A minor gem of a film.
