Review of The Trials of Henry Kissinger (2002) by Alejandro S — 10 Sep 2007
The most important point of the movie is raised in the last minute. Is morality universal and applicable across different cultures and countries, or are states and statesmen exempt from their actions under special circumstances, and if so, what sort of boundaries can be drawn? Based on the book by Christopher Hitchens, an eloquent and sometimes acerbic writer who is now an advocate for US War in Iraq.
His story probably deserves another movie.
