Meeting the director at a showing in Orlando, FL was quite a treat. The director chose to show Milk's outer circle rather than focus on the inner circle as biographical documentaries tend to do... Citizen Milk shows us a full story told from the POV of a handful of people. Its a moving film and I recommend it to anyone involved in issues of human rights, gay rights, or just issues of social justice. One person can make a difference...
Take Out the "I" in MILK and what do you have???
I don't recall seeing a shot of Anita Bryant getting a pie in her face in neither the documentary nor the Van Sant film - that was on youtube lol~ rubber Mallets for televangelist I say *KONK* take away the power of their hate with vaudvillian silliness ~.
