Review of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) by Ian S — 12 Aug 2007
One of the greatest heist movies and the inspiration for many other films. Here's an example: the train robbers refer to themselves as Mr Pink, Mr Green etc. Sound familiar? Walter Matthau has a ball as the grumpy subway detective and the movie has one of the best final lines ever.
And the soundtrack is great!
