Review of The Sweet Hereafter (1997) by Jessicaann D — 11 Aug 2007
One of the best literary adaptations ever. This film will stay with you and haunt you. The story of a town emotionally demolished by the loss of its children, save one, filled with Pied Piper allusions and the relationships between fathers and daughters.
Sarah Polley is fantastic.
