Review of The Suicide Shop (2012) by Jean Pierre C — 27 Oct 2012
A disappointing 3-D animated musical comedy that has a promising Edward Gorey meets the Addams Family concept that is derailed by insipid songs with ungainly English translation. As for the comedy, well, when you take on this kind of material, you'd better be damn funny or you risk appearing to be in poor taste, and unfortunately the film fails there as well.
The interesting animation is its only saving grace.
