Review of The Sadist (1963) by Esoterik&Reg — 27 Mar 2008
This ultra-low-budget thriller is surprisingly well-shot, lurid, and brutal. Though the film lags a bit in the middle, the climax is filled with high tension and suspense. This is definitely a B-movie that overcomes (perhaps even benefits from) its technical and financial limitations.
