This is the first Maddin film I have seen, and it definitely won't be the last. This absurd, crazy style really appeals to me, and he seems to be the master. After this I can't wait till Brand Upon The Brain comes out on Criterion in August, and I really can't wait to see My Winnepeg.
This is some of the greatest art of our time.
