Review of The Ron Clark Story (2006) by Stephanie W — 02 Jan 2008
I though this movie was very very very sweet.
Mathew Perry was excellent as Ron; His acting was diverse compared to his other roles (He's often type cast)and he made the film enjoyable, it wouldnt be half as good without him. It wasn't even too gritty, if you've had a bad day and you need a pick-me-up then this is the film to watch, You can see the happy ending coming from a mile off which I love. It's based on a true story which makes the plot cooler, The classroom scenes were Ron makes learning more enjoyable were adorbale, the sadder moments were also very moving.
It has subtle humor, no stupid "hah hah" he farted" jokes here, Its sentimentally amsuing also.
This movie is nice to watch with your family or to watch alone.
Seeing this man's situation (and the kids view on things) progress is lovely, I recomend this film.
