Review of The Panama Deception (1992) by Andy S — 05 Feb 2008
It's a shame that this film has no reviews on here.
And it's downright depressing that, apparently, 100% of the flixster users are "not interested" in seeing it.
It won the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature the year of its release.
It is an important document about the U.S. invasion of Panama in 1989 and the injustices committed as part of that military action.
It is just as relevant today as it was then, with its unflinching comment on foreign policy, the role of the media, and the short-sightedness of a national military industrial complex.
Seriously.
Do yourself, and your worldview a favor.
Seek out this film and see it.
