Review of The Paleface (1948) by Jebus C — 18 Mar 2009
You either like Bob Hope or you don't. This is typical wisecracking Bob Hope fare and one of his most famous movies without Bing Crosby. It has aged quite badly but has the benefit of Jane Russell looking tremendous as Calamity Jane.
There are enough laughs to make it worthwhile even if it falls short of some of the better Road to movies like the Road to Utopia.
