Review of The Odd Angry Shot (1979) by Fiercesnake T — 26 Jan 2007
Great movie! A VERY different look at the Vietnam war from the Australian perspective. Well known (recently deceased) actor Graham Kennedy, Bryan Brown, et al, portray typical Vietnam soldiers by concentrating on the pschyology of how individual men make light of the stupidity of the army and war to stay sane while all hell breaks loose around them in a nightmare war.
Definitely different from the usual Hollywood take on the war.
