Review of The Night of the Sunflowers (2006) by Greg W — 21 Nov 2011
Devastatingly tragic and brutal exploration of the consequences of Rape and Murder in rural Spain, told in Rashomon-like structure, following several characters within one time-frame, set around one single rather upsetting incident, this deservedly lauded thriller is a beautifully constructed, perfectly acted, disturbingly plausible and memorable piece of Cinema.
