Review of The Mighty Kong (1998) by Wes S — 10 Nov 2013
It doesn't really work well as a remake, and even then, kids might not even enjoy it much. Most of the film takes place on the ship, and very little time is spent on the island. Kong almost feels like a minor character.
The songs get annoying, and the animation is cheap. It doesn't really add anything to the original, besides an alternative happy ending.
