Review of The Lunchbox (2013) by Aman A — 27 Jul 2014
Wow! And we sent which movie to the oscars again? This had a chance of winning the Oscars let alone make it to the top 10! I cannot stop short of accolades for each facet of this film, bar the ending. The ending could have either been sooner or later (plot oriented only).
The acting was spectacular. The shot selection and somberness of the visuals were perfect. The camera moved as languid as Saajan or as outwardly confident as Shaikh. Nimrat Kaur was so real, it was shocking.
This is a movie made by a person who is a master of relationships and psychology. It is simply beautiful.
