Review of The Lifeguard (2013) by Andrew L — 04 Nov 2013
The Lifeguard is a bland movie. The story is very creative, and I thought is was good but there were problems that could have been fixed, but weren't. The Lifeguard follows Leigh (Kristen Bell), who has a good life but when everything begins to unravel, she moves back in with her parents as well as her old habits. Liz W. Garcia had a good voice for this movie but it doesn't successfully deliver the message by the end. She could have used another writer to edit the screenplay, and I feel it would have reached a much wider audience,.
The acting by Kristen Bell and the rest of the cast was pretty good. I want to see Kristen Bell in more of these movies because I know she has a lot more potential than what she has shown in the past. Definitely not worth the rent.
