Review of The Last Ride (2004) by Joanne L — 30 Jun 2006
It`s like a watered down, B grade version of The Fast and The Furious but not a bad watch. I wouldn`t recommend it for people who want to see cars because there are few featured and those are, are ugly.
It relies on plot to survive but the plot is weak. Basically, grandpa was set up by someone he thought was his friend and goes to jail, leaving his young son Junior angry and hating him for not being a good father.
Junior has his own son, who rebelliously meets up with grandpa when he is released from jail 30 or so years later despite being told not to associate with him and ends up helping grandpa exact his revenge on the backstabber who is now rich and living a good life.
