Review of The Last Detail (1973) by Brad W — 07 Oct 2008
This was one of my father's favourite movies and so has become one of mine. I can't help but see my Dad in Jack Nicholson's character as he alternately cleaves to and away from his responsibilities in the Navy hierarchy.
He loves being a lifer, but hates the system too. Bravo Yankee, Bravo - a right on example of 70's realist film making.
