Review of The Killing of John Lennon (2007) by Grant S — 31 Jul 2010
Intense, gritty portrayal of days and months leading up to Mark David Chapman shooting John Lennon, seen from the killer's perspective. Well researched, well directed and well acted.
If you've seen Chapter 27 many of the details will be familar, but while Chapter 27 concentrated mostly on Chapman's life leading up to the killing, this movie concentrates on his motives.
I thought Chapter 27 was good, but this is even better.
