Somewhat an expose' of people trafficking in Australia and the way that our detainee laws can stand in the way of justice and human decency. That's admirable, but the drama/thriller narrative at the heart of the film is a tad clumsy.
Perhaps less jumping between characters and time frames, especially early-on, would have worked better. Still, if you like gritty dramas you could do far, far worse than this.
