Review of The Island (2007) by Nicole V — 07 Jul 2011
Though I wouldnt watch this film again, I give it four stars. It was a great Film Movement Russian piece of the the Russian Orthodox monestary..it was comical beacause the main character, Father Anatoly was so lonely, self resentful and sarcastic with the monestary around him and with those that came all the way to the separate island parting from the rest of the country.
He made a self fullfilled judgement to help others, but the ending was a coming, but depressing.Well played through SUCH a dreary setting scene.
