Review of The Island (2007) by Alex M — 07 Jul 2011
An awesome study of the strength of one man's faith. It's a bit slow in the beginning, but as new characters, each with their own spiritual quest in life enter the picture and small subplots develop, the movie totally engrosses the viewer.
The ending might be predictable, but still is very strong and seems fitting for the story. The movie, like the main character, teaches without becoming preachy. Great film!
