Review of The Incite Mill (2010) by Trent R — 17 May 2011
Techno-Ten Little Indians, with a lot of set design substituting for any sense of psychological suspense or unpredictable mystery. Tatsuya Fujiwara is cast for type to play off of his Battle Royale role, although the cursory nods to generational bridge-building and backstory do little to humanize the characters in this instance.
The young cast is generally relegated to romantic subplot, over-acting insanity, or staring into camera with a panicked expression to indicate a mystery being solved. There is little more of appeal here than a series of kills and somewhat interesting plot points tied to the design.
