Review of The House I Live In (2012) by Jay M — 10 Jul 2013
A great film about the war on drugs which unfortunately ends up being just another film on the war on drugs. It brings little new insight on the developments in the war which is beginning to seem less likely of being winnable.
The film tends to focus on the governments perceived xenophobia. Stupidity and shortsightedness is the more likely culprit and the film does not express the difficulty of change as things have gone way to far to quit cold turkey.
Nonetheless worth a watch.
