One of the best revenge films made in many years. This film is very brutal and very unsettling to watch. It's very gory and blood soaked throughout. That said, I can't recommend this film enough.
It may not be for everyone due to the nature of the story and the methods of revenge that this father is seeking to do. It has touches of Death Wish, Hardcore and Last House on the Left all mixed together in this gritty hard boiled tale of a father's revenge on the people responsible for the death of his young daughter.
Excellent direction and production values. The actors all give attention grabbing performances. Peter Marshall is top notch as the vengeful father. As I stated above, I highly recommend this film, but I will warn again of the very graphic and unsettling ways the revenge is gained in this film.
