Review of The Holy Girl (2004) by David K — 31 May 2008
Ugh. I loathe this movie. Not only is it incredibly slow moving, but it's filled with awkward moments that are essentially unanswered. The screen is filled with tension, but it's just so bland.
We barely get a glimpse into these characters and by the end, I was still confused on some of the "relationships" that were established. "La Nina Santa" looks like a good film, but it's really not.
It's really bad. I would like to go into more detail, but right now I'd rather not think about it. Like this review, the movie is just really unsatisfying.
