Review of The Hellcats (1968) by Marco F — 28 Oct 2011
Rare biker flick from the virtually unknown Gemini American Pictures. I find it somehow worse than "The Born Losers", but a little better than "The Wild Angels". Screenplay is a a joke and story unfolds like a hamburger, but just for you to know it's about a police couple trying to figure who killed their common friend.
In order to do it the need to lay down with a vicious biker gang: The Hellcats. They deal heroin and get their kicks from drinking, fighting and chasing bikes. Well, it's basically like the other exploitation movies except that it's been made on even lower budget!
