Review of The Gambler (1974) by Laboured_Atlas — 07 Feb 2016
I enjoyed the Gambler for what it was, a competent film with a few flaws. The lead played by Mark Wahlberg is hard to sympathise with as he goes far beyond the pale with regards to his gambling problem, but worse than that spends a good portion of the film spouting pseudo-philosophical drivel.
