I never used to be able to understand Almodovar movies when I was young. That's why I was surprised when I was able to follow the plot in this one after some initial confusion. So maybe I've learned something about life since I was young? (hope so) However I'm still not a great fan of Almodovar aesthetics (colors, type of storytelling etc.
), it's too kitchy for my liking.
