Magnificent film. Superb acting. Beautifully handled by Reed at his peak. I recommend the book by Graham Greene (slightly, but importantly, different to this).
Those disappointed (other reviews) are really stupid people forgetting this movie is 60 years old and its subtlies obviously eluded them.
