Review of The Explosive Generation (1961) by Angie K — 20 Oct 2007
This was a good movie and if you put it in context of when it was made, it is a great movie. A teacher asks his students what they want to talk about. They want to talk honestly and openly about sex. He knows he will get in trouble, but after much insistence from the students, he decides to go ahead.
Someone tells their parents about it and they go nuts and get all the parents to get the teacher fired. The students start a protest. It isn't until the end of the movie that the parents finally listen to their kids and realize it isn't the teacher's fault.
Their kids have questions and had no one to turn to for answers.
