Review of The Dying Gaul (2005) by Jake H — 14 Aug 2007
The presence of Peter Sarsgaard made this film worthwhile, but only just. I still can't appreciate the ending, but the majority of the story is compelling. The way the characters relate to each other is, not to put too fine a point on it, fucked up.
I have issues with movies that only exist to portray nihilistic and horrible people damaging each other.
