Review of The Dead Girl (2006) by Hannah S — 29 Nov 2008
This movie was sooo dope. I love movies that give multiple points of view that all deal with the same senario. Karen Moncrieff should get an oscar for this movie! While watching this flick I noticed certain parts seemed to be more from a female perspective which was cool. This film dealt a lot with family and situations that some families go through but no one talks about it. Very well depicted.
The transitions were simple but effective and I did like the character design and dialogue. Granted the dialoue wasn't "Pulp Fiction" or "Brick" status, it was powerful. Movie seemed a little dark at times but fit the scene well, as did the lighting. Sound design and music wasn't anything special. Overall it was a great movie! Two thumbs up......worth buying on DVD!
